CLEARANCE DATE: 31st August 2012
PROPERTY LOCATION: Fairhaven Avenue, West Mersea, Essex, CO5
CLEARANCE TYPE: Full house clearance
PROPERTY TYPE: 4-bedroom bungalow
Clearance Requirements
The owner of this 4-bedroom bungalow on Fairhaven Avenue in West Mersea contacted us to request a complete clearance and light clean of the property. He was very keen to put the property on the market as soon as he could, but first he had to clear the furniture and effects and decorate it. He asked us to clear everything from the property apart from the carpets and the fittings. He also asked us to tidy up the garden because a lot of rubbish had accumulated in it.
Clearance Overview
We arrived at 7.30am and parked our vehicles in the large driveway. It was a spacious street in a peaceful area of West Mersea and there was very little traffic. We commenced work immediately, and began in the garden where we cleared all of the rubbish that had accumulated. We then moved indoors and removed all of the furniture, some of which consisted of large items that required a few members of the team to lift. We removed all of the white goods from the kitchen and the furniture from upstairs, which included the beds, a few chests of draws, three cupboards and a couple of desks. We then gave the property a light clean to make it look presentable. By the time we had finished it was coming up to 6pm.
Disposal of Contents
We shredded all of the garden waste that could be composted and placed it in a compost bin. Some of the rubbish from the garden was not recyclable or reusable so we had to send this to landfill, but fortunately it was not too much. We were able to reuse much of the furniture because it was in a good condition, so this was donated to various charitable organisations in the West Mersea area.
Client Comments
After we had finished, the client stated that he was “delighted” with the work and that he would happily recommend us to anyone else he knew who required a house clearance in West Mersea and the surrounding area.
