I had to come to the UK from Australia and deal with the death of a close relative who had hoarding tendencies, who had also died in the house, and the associated problems that come with that. It wasn't a particularly nice environment to be in.
I had a very limited time to organise a house clearance and Jeffrey Avery was able to meet me at very short notice to view the property, assess what was required, discuss a plan of action, and provide a quotation before I few back to Australia, all of which was very much appreciated.
Jeffrey's company seemed to tick all the boxes in terms of the service they offered which included the removal of all the items in the house including carpets, curtains, household appliances and general clutter, and subsequently provide a much needed deep clean.
They communicated and cooperated well with the neighbours due to the property having issues with difficult vehicle access, provided a "before and after" video for the purposes of transparency and were able to liaise with my solicitor regarding keys and the handover of discovered documents.
Good work indeed and would recommend the service to anyone.
I've used Jeffrey Avery and Associates on two occasions. In 2011 to clear my late father's terraced house in Putney and in December 2018 a detached house in Wimbledon with a large studio workshop in a large garden with an outhouse. Both jobs were undertaken professionally by Jeff and his team. The latter job was particularly challenging in the nature and volume of the items and rubbish to be removed and Jeff blitzed it. I find Jeff to be very knowledgeable about his business and a straightforward man who is very easy to deal with. In that last job there were a couple of issues, one quite serious, which fell out of the scope of my agreement with Jeff. Jeff did them within our contract as he felt I was also upfront and honest in my dealings with him. I would recommend anyone looking to have their property cleared to call Jeffrey Avery and Associates.

Many thanks to Jeffrey and his team for doing a fantastic job today. I was delighted with the service provided and the house has been transformed. I’d be very happy to recommend Avery Associates to anyone looking for an extremely reliable, efficient and considerate company to clear their property.
Avery Associates were asked to clear a three bedroom bungalow, garage and shed for us. The lead up to the day was very well handled, with excellent communications. On the day they arrived promptly and immediately started. There were a total of 4 guys who worked very hard and completed all the work in about 7 hours. This included clearance of the loft which was not easy. The contents were separated between items for charity shops, recycling and disposal. They completed the job by hoovering the entire bungalow. They remained polite and helpful, consequently I have no doubt in recommending this company

Hi Jeff - Thank you again for doing such a great job
I can not recommend Avery Associates highly enough. Losing both parents in a short space of time is traumatic. Dealing with sorting a house that is full to brimming over and a garage and two sheds and a greenhouse equally as full was painful and overwhelming. Mum and Dad were certainly ‘keep it just in case people’! I am so grateful to Jeff and his colleagues who came and saved the day.
I was extremely impressed with every aspect of their service from the website, the receptionists, Jeff and the House Clearance.
Jeff came on the Tuesday to provide a quote which was extremely reasonable and the job was completed in one day on the Friday of that week. All I can say is they worked exceptionally hard. Everywhere was left cleared and clean.
I am so grateful for Jeff’s kindness and consideration in what was a very sad time.
I was kept informed at all times.... I was especially amused that a bible fell and hit him on the head.... I think God was pleased with him as well!!!
