Fantastic service! From initial contact I received 5 star service. This company is professional, honest and they stick to their word. Having to explain very personal individual circumstances was made so much easier with understanding staff and being over 100 miles away from the property it could have been very difficult but it wasn't, I was completely looked after at all times. You went above and beyond, a very sincere thankyou to the team

Hi Jeff - Thank you again for doing such a great job I can not recommend Avery Associates highly enough. Losing both parents in a short space of time is traumatic. Dealing with sorting a house that is full to brimming over and a garage and two sheds and a greenhouse equally as full was painful and overwhelming. Mum and Dad were certainly ‘keep it just in case people’! I am so grateful to Jeff and his colleagues who came and saved the day. I was extremely impressed with every aspect of their service from the website, the receptionists, Jeff and the House Clearance. Jeff came on the Tuesday to provide a quote which was extremely reasonable and the job was completed in one day on the Friday of that week. All I can say is they worked exceptionally hard. Everywhere was left cleared and clean. I am so grateful for Jeff’s kindness and consideration in what was a very sad time. I was kept informed at all times.... Dear Mr Avery - We were aware of how important it was to obtain a professional valuation and avoid Inland Revenue challenge. You answered all our questions and gave us complete confidence in your ability to carry out the work. Having called other companies Avery Associates stood out and offered the standard of valuation we required.
Jeffrey Avery carried out a thorough and accurate valuation, including a list of family bequests making the whole thing very straight forward. We received our written report three days later which was subsequently accepted by Inland Revenue without question.

I would highly recommend Jeff and his team. Jeff clearly has many years of experience and was not daunted by the task of clearing my late father’s rambling property in the West Sussex countryside – a 4 bedroom house with a large double garage literally full to the rafters, 6 large sheds/garden buildings and 2 green houses, all completely full with years of accumulated stuff. The job took three long days, with 3 or 4 men working from 7.00 am until dusk. On the second day 3 additional men came to help with a large tractor mower which had rusted and totally seized up, consequently making it almost impossible to shift.
I feel confident that Jeff and his team would have responded to any unforeseen circumstances efficiently. I was not present for the work, but Jeff kept me informed with phone and text updates, and he also sent many photos on completion of the job. The men were all polite and respectful, and the neighbours said that they were friendly and considerate.S.B.
I contacted Geoff regarding house clearance and clean for my late family home. His team were excellent, they were given short notice and travelled some distance to fit my in. They were very professional and sensitive that it was once my family home, albeit was in a it of a state. They left the property clean.

I had not used Jeffrey Avery and Associates before, although the company’s name appeared on my list of valuers in the South West of London which has been compiled over more than forty years in the business of antiques’ valuation. I picked Jeffrey for this job in Wimbledon and it was the property of a deceased, somewhat eccentric, old client who had probably never thrown anything away in his entire lifetime, and had spent virtually nothing on the maintenance of his property in Wimbledon village and very near the common.
Jeffrey arrived at the house with consummate punctuality, properly dressed for the job and with the minimum of necessary equipment. After a brief, but informative introduction, we did a quick “walk through” of the property, during which I was able to point out, quite unnecessarily as it happened, anything that I thought might be of interest or value. After that I left Jeffrey alone to make a more detailed survey of the contents of the house which he undertook with quiet efficiency.
His typed report arrived in my office within a couple of days. It was very well presented; clearly set out with easily justifiable values for anything in the property which was worth itemising rather than including under “general contents”.
The valuation was finalised by a further printed copy of the valuation, sent by email and by hard copy through the post.
In many years in this business I have often found that valuers either miss important pieces, or give those pieces valuations that do not accurately represent the market, insurance or probate values of those pieces. With Jeffrey Avery I received a well presented valuation of a collection that was easy to interpret. This made my work on this estate, and the work of the estate’s lawyers, infinitely easier than it might have been, and, in consequence, I am very grateful to Jeffrey and his team for their diligence and efficiency. Should another opportunity arise in the same area, I certainly know to which firm of valuers I should turn.

“Jeff and his team did a magnificent job clearing and cleaning a site for me. The job was undertaken with efficiency, discretion and good humour despite some less than savoury elements. The job had in fact been refused by 2 other clearer's before I discovered Jeff. The property in question had had an elderly relative living there who was fiercely protective of her independence and had not let anyone in the house for 13 years. Her immaculate public appearance and sharp mind, belied the state in which the house had descended into which could only be described as squalid – covered in its entirety 6 foot deep in post, newspapers, empty and full ready meal containers and soiled nappies. The plumbing had been completed blocked up. Jeff diligently cleared the rubbish, much of the ruined furniture, removed the kitchen units and fridge and also removed the bath, shower and loo units and placed a stopper over the soil pipes. Once empty his team of cleaners came in to tidy and clean what was left. The site was unrecognisable from its previous state. I would highly recommend their services.”
