I don't normally write reviews, but after the excellent experience I had with Avery House clearance, I thought it warranted me to write a few words.
I've just completed on the sale of a house of mine. I needed everything clearing from it. I phoned this company, and arranged for Jeff Avery to pop round and give me a quote. He was there on time. He was such a friendly chap, and we actually ended up chatting for ages. He was very professional, very helpful, and he gave me an excellent quote. It was all first class.
Then, it was the day of the house clearance. The two lads who turned up arrived 20 mins early which was perfect. They got to work immediately. I have never seen such hard grafters before. Amazing. They did a top job, and they cleaned up immaculately afterwards. I could not fault them.
My whole experience with this company was superb. I really do recommend them. I would even be happy for Jeff to let you contact me if you needed any more info about them.
As far as I'm concerned, I chose the best house clearance company out there. A huge thank you to Jeff and his hard working lads. Thank you so much.

We used Avery for an initial chattels valuation for the purposes of probate and when we needed a very quick house clearance when the sale of my late father's house came forward, Jeff quoted to clear and clean at short notice and did not take advantage of the fact we were desperate due to timings. The team turned up at 7.30am as arranged and respectfully cleared the house in no time with no damage and deep cleaned to a standard Kim and Aggie would be proud of. We hired Avery Associates to clear my late half-brothers house in Forest Gate London.
We were extremely worried, as my Half-brother had lived alone, & was a hoarder, The house was in a complete state, & full to the point where it was really unsafe to enter (Mr Avery said it was one of the worst cases he’d seen) We really didn’t know how to begin, so were very happy & relieved to leave the whole situation in the hands of Mr Avery, (who oversaw & managed the whole project), and take a step back.
They organised, the clearing of each room in turn, including the loft & garage, keeping back personal items, photos etc. We lost count of the number of vans used (of which, Mr Avery organised street parking etc)
During this, we had asked Mr Avery, to look out for a will, but we held out little hope of finding it amongst the ton of rubbish, which was waist high in places. I can’t say how relieved we were, when Mr Avery phoned to say he’d located it. We believed it to be a virtually impossible task, and it saved us much time & trouble
Avery Associates, organised the clearing, cleaning & the disposal of the waste, much of which was toxic. They did this quickly, efficiently, with little fuss, and for a very competitive price, for which they supplied a written quotation. They kept us informed at all times, and supplied photos as the work progressed.
Avery Associates turned a potentially difficult task into a well run, & organised project, and I have no hesitation in providing a glowing reference, & recommending them very highly.

I had to clear my late uncle's flat which was not in a pleasant state. Jeff responded quickly to my initial enquiry and was able to do the job within a week. I was able to organise this over the phone and by sending keys as I didn't live nearby. Everything was cleared and the flat was left in a clean state ready for selling. Jeff said I wouldn't be disappointed and he was right!

I had to come to the UK from Australia and deal with the death of a close relative who had hoarding tendencies, who had also died in the house, and the associated problems that come with that. It wasn't a particularly nice environment to be in.
I had a very limited time to organise a house clearance and Jeffrey Avery was able to meet me at very short notice to view the property, assess what was required, discuss a plan of action, and provide a quotation before I few back to Australia, all of which was very much appreciated.
Jeffrey's company seemed to tick all the boxes in terms of the service they offered which included the removal of all the items in the house including carpets, curtains, household appliances and general clutter, and subsequently provide a much needed deep clean.
They communicated and cooperated well with the neighbours due to the property having issues with difficult vehicle access, provided a "before and after" video for the purposes of transparency and were able to liaise with my solicitor regarding keys and the handover of discovered documents.
Good work indeed and would recommend the service to anyone.
I've used Jeffrey Avery and Associates on two occasions. In 2011 to clear my late father's terraced house in Putney and in December 2018 a detached house in Wimbledon with a large studio workshop in a large garden with an outhouse. Both jobs were undertaken professionally by Jeff and his team. The latter job was particularly challenging in the nature and volume of the items and rubbish to be removed and Jeff blitzed it. I find Jeff to be very knowledgeable about his business and a straightforward man who is very easy to deal with. In that last job there were a couple of issues, one quite serious, which fell out of the scope of my agreement with Jeff. Jeff did them within our contract as he felt I was also upfront and honest in my dealings with him. I would recommend anyone looking to have their property cleared to call Jeffrey Avery and Associates.

Many thanks to Jeffrey and his team for doing a fantastic job today. I was delighted with the service provided and the house has been transformed. I’d be very happy to recommend Avery Associates to anyone looking for an extremely reliable, efficient and considerate company to clear their property.
Avery Associates were asked to clear a three bedroom bungalow, garage and shed for us. The lead up to the day was very well handled, with excellent communications. On the day they arrived promptly and immediately started. There were a total of 4 guys who worked very hard and completed all the work in about 7 hours. This included clearance of the loft which was not easy. The contents were separated between items for charity shops, recycling and disposal. They completed the job by hoovering the entire bungalow. They remained polite and helpful, consequently I have no doubt in recommending this company
