Clearance Overview
This was a fairly large house with three large bedrooms, and the entire property needed clearing. Most of the rooms had some furniture to clear, but some had more than others and a few were packed full of old tv,s appliances radios clothing shoes and general clutter. There was a large driveway for parking our vehicles outside which was very useful.
Clearance Requirements
The owner wanted to monetise anything that had a reasonable value and stayed with us during the clearance to quickly say whether we should keep it or not. We often ask owners to mark items, but she preferred to work this way. The carpets were to be left because they were in a good condition, but she wanted us to give the property a quick clean following the clearance to get rid of any remaining debris.
Disposal of Contents
We took all of the contents to be recycled or reused back to our depot, a small amount of the house contents went to landfill. We managed to gather a respectable amount of items to donate to a local charity we work with.
Client Comments
We separated the items for sale and left these in one of the rooms of the house where she could sort them out herself. All of the other items were recycled, donated or sent to waste.
