CLEARANCE DATE: 31st August 2012
PROPERTY LOCATION: Paine’s Lane, Pinner, London, HA5
CLEARANCE TYPE: Full House Clearance
PROPERTY TYPE: 5-Bedroom-House
Clearance Requirements
Our client for this clearance was the owner of a large detached house on Paine’s Lane in Pinner, London, HA5. He had bought the house at auction knowing that it was in a fairly bad condition inside. It was a very old property and he was planning to renovate it. Firstly, however, he had to remove all of the remaining furniture and other items from inside. There was also lots of rubble, bricks and general construction waste that needed removing.
Clearance Overview
We parked up our vans in the driveway just after 7.30am and began work on the clearance immediately. It was a large job because there were things all over the place, and the rubble left over from a fallen wall was heavy to lift so the going was quite slow at times. However, we worked as quickly as we could whilst ensuring that safety was always the main priority.
We made good progress and before long the living room and kitchen were cleared. The fridge, freezer and washing machine were all very old and rusted so could not be reused in this case.
We finished clearing the interior of the property by 4.00pm, and we then removed some more rubble and a few old tools from the back garden, finishing the clearance at 5.30pm.
Disposal of Contents
Many of the items from this clearance could not be reused, but we sent most of them to the recycling centre where they could be taken apart and all of the useful parts could be recycled. Some of the contents that we removed inevitably had to be sent to landfill, but we did everything possible to minimise this and in the end only a few things had to be discarded as waste.
Client Comments
The client was very pleased by the amount of work that we managed to achieve in such a short time. He confirmed that he could now begin work on the renovation, and thanked us for our work.
