Our client for this property clearance was a firm of estate agents, who requested that we clear the property completely. The property, a detached three-bedroom house with a driveway in the centre of Loughton, had previously been let to tenants who had left suddenly after failing to pay the rent. Our client also asked that we clean the property throughout to make it presentable once again, and that we change the locks. .
Clearance Overview
The clearance was fairly straightforward by our standards. We were able to park our vehicles in the driveway without any problems, meaning we could remove the contents and store everything in our closed unmarked vans without any problems. The property had not been left in a good condition by the previous tenants, and many of the items of furniture were damaged. After removing all of the effects, we cleaned the property throughout and left it in a great condition so that the estate agents could begin viewings again. We also brought in our locksmith during the day to replace the locks on both the front and back doors.
Disposal of Contents
Due to the condition of the furniture we were not able to salvage it, which was unfortunate. However, there were a few items that were still usable, including a large cabinet and cupboard, and we donated these to a local charity. Anything that could not be reused was sent to our recycling centre.
