Clearance Requirements
Our client for this clearance was an estate agent working for the owner of a four-bedroom flat overlooking Kennington Park on Kennington Park Road in Kennington, London, SE11. The job consisted of a standard clearance, although there was a considerable amount of clutter to remove, mainly consisting of small items. The only challenging item was a very large wardrobe made from oak, but with our team being highly skilled in such heavy and awkward objects this was not a problem.
The only other issue was that the owner did not want to cause a disturbance because he had elderly neighbours and did not want them to be affected by the clearance. We reassured the client that we always work quietly and respectfully, and that although there is always some level of disturbance we always make sure that we were careful.
Clearance Overview
When we arrived at the property we had to park our vehicles at the back of the building to find parking as there was none available outside. The flat had an excellent view overlooking Kennington Park and it was a wonderful property. It was also in very good condition, and we made sure that we protected the entrance with plywood to prevent any damage from occurring.
We removed the oak wardrobe early on in the clearance to get it out of the way, and it did not prove problematic at all because we had an experienced team to carry it down the stairs. We then cleared all of the general clutter until the flat was completely clean, and finished off by providing it with a light clean to leave it in good condition.
Disposal of Contents
During the clearance we found an old photo album that we handed over to the client. Apart from that he did not want to keep anything so we donated anything that was reusable to a charity, including the oak wardrobe. We then recycled the remaining general household goods to reduce the amount of waste produced during the clearance.

Our client came to inspect the property at the end of the day and confirmed that everything was completed to a very high standard. We received an email a few days later to say that the owner had been in contact with the elderly couple next door who had not experienced any disturbance, and he wanted to thank us for working in such a discreet manner
