Clearance Requirements
We were hired to clear a four-bedroom detached house just off the High Street in Ingatestone, CM4, which had a large driveway for parking our vehicles. The client wanted to let the property following the clearance so we were also asked to provide it with a deep clean to leave it in a good condition for viewing by estate agents.
Clearance Overview
When we arrived at 8am a representative from the client’s firm of solicitors met us at the property. Following a quick appraisal, we began work on the ground floor of the house. The majority of the household effects had been removed previously, but we were left with some large items of furniture and general residue. After we had cleared the ground floor, we moved upstairs and cleared the bedrooms. We had to dismantle two of the beds, but we took tools along for this, and we reassembled them outside before removing them in our vans. Following the clearance, we cleaned the property throughout and left it in a good condition
Disposal of Contents
A number of the items of furniture and general goods were in a good condition, and we were able to sell some of these to offset the cost of the clearance. A small amount of the contents was taken to our recycling centre, and an even smaller amount of the contents was sent to landfill. Everything was removed in closed unmarked vans for the confidentiality of the client.

The firm of solicitors were acting as executors on behalf of the beneficiary. At the end of the day, one of the partners checked over the property and inspected everything, and stated that he was very impressed with the job that we had done.
