Clearance Overview

This 3-bedroom semi-detached house did not have a huge amount of items that needed to be cleared, although there were still too many for the owners to want to clear themselves. Because the previous owners had kept a lot of pets, the new owners wanted to clean the property as well. Seeing as we provide both services, they decided to hire us for both jobs which we could carry out at the same time.

Clearance Requirements

Following the actual clearance of the properties, the new owners wanted us to take up all of the carpets and set about cleaning the property. It had been badly affected by damp as well as the large quantity of animals which had been kept there, so a thorough deep clean was necessary. In the end this took longer than the actual clearance, but it left the property in a much better condition so that the owners could start to decorate it and make it habitable once again.

Disposal of Contents

The vast majority of the contents were not in any condition to be reused, although some could be recycled. We separated the items as we cleared the property and then took the majority of them to our recycling centre and disposed of the others.
