Clearance Overview
This Epsom house clearance was in the city centre which presented a number of challenges. It was difficult to find space to park and we were also wary about disturbing nearby residents, but we have experience of working in such environments so this was not a problem. The house was located in a busy area and we had to walk a considerable distance with the furniture for loading into our vehicle.
Clearance Requirements
The owner of the house asked us to try to cause as little disruption as possible to other residents because there were a number of elderly people living in the vicinity. We are always careful in such situations so this was not a problem. The owner had also put lables on the items that she wanted us to separate so that she could keep them, but everything else was to be cleared.
Disposal of Contents
Apart from the items with lables for keeping, which included large items of furniture such as the bed and the wardrobe, we removed everything from the property. Despite having to walk some distance to the truck with the items, we worked quickly and quietly and the job was completed before the end of the day. Most of the unwanted items were sent to our recycling centre, and we also sent a few items of furniture and some books to a local Epsom charity.
