Clearance Overview

This house was a large period property which the owner wanted to sell. He had removed everything from the property that he wanted to keep so he called us in to clear out the rest of the items. The remaining household content was considerable and was enough to fill our largest removal truck plus one of the smaller. A good allowance was made for the furniture being that it was very good quality and easy to sell on. He also wanted a deep clean of the property in preparation for marketing. We are often requested to value house contents for probate, before carrying out a house clearance, but a probate valuation was not necessary in this case.

Clearance Requirements

This was a straightforward property clearance without any particular problems. The house clearance took the whole day with our cleaning team following behind room by room finally giving the whole property a vacuum. Each room was cleaned from top to bottom and we left the place looking like new.

Disposal of Contents

We took all of the contents to be recycled or reused back to our depot, a small amount of the house contents went to landfill. We managed to gather a respectable amount of items to donate to a local charity we work with.
