Clearance Requirements
Our client was the owner of this large five-bedroom semi-detached house on Oldborough Road in Wembley, London, and he called us to arrange the complete clearance of his property as well as the back garden. He did not require any gardening work to be carried out in the garden, but there was a lot of clutter and general rubbish that had built up over a number of years and he wanted it all cleared away.
Clearance Overview
The property was located on Oldborough Road, and there was a driveway to park our vehicles in. We met the client when we arrived at 7.00am, and he handed us the keys so that we could get to work. We split into two teams, with one team focusing on the inside of the property and the other working on the garden. The garden team cleared a considerable amount of items, most of which consisted of rubbish, old tools, tyres, bits of cars and rusted machinery. Inside, the team cleared the furniture, tables, chairs, wardrobes, paintings, books and other general items, including the white goods from the kitchen. We made very good progress, and once the garden team had finished clearing the outside area they helped the other team clear the property. In the end we were able to clear the entire property, including the carpets and curtains, by 4.30pm.
Disposal of Contents
A lot of the contents from the garden consisted of rubbish, but we were still able to recycle the majority of the things that could not be reused. The goods that we cleared from inside the property were in a very good condition for the most part, and we managed to donate most of the things to a selection of charity shops operating in the area.
