How Does House Clearance Work – A Guide

May 25, 2012 By Avery Associates

I Have A House To Clear So Where Do I Start

Unless you have been in the position of clearing a house after bereavement before its understandable that you would have no idea of how house clearance works.

How Does A House Clearance Work

Getting your house cleared is quite simple, we simply need to ask a few questions about the job itself, the amount of furniture and contents, the location, especially in London, parking and so on, and from this we can give you a good indication of what it will cost to get your house cleared.

What Do You Do With All The Household Contents

Some of the contents might have some resale value so these items we can take them away to sell on, then there will be items that have very small value but we can them recycled or reused or even to charity.

Who Do I Call For A House Clearance

As you are reading this article we are an obvious choice, but if you choose to shop around for price comparisons just make sure that the house clearance firm chosen has a good reputation, some testimonials that are authentic and not just made up an address and most importantly check that they are a registered waste carrier which is now law. Dont just choose the cheapest quote as it may be that your furniture and effects may end up fly tipped

How Do You Take The House Contents Away

We use a large closed in vehicles for the job so all of the belongings fit in one or two of these depending on the size of the property and onc we have removed the house contents we discretely transport them to our recycling centre for sorting.

I Want The Furniture And Effects Recycled And Given To Charity

If you choose to donate your  house contents to charity as a gift then we will still have to charge for the labour of removing an transporting them to a charity.

I Want My Families Possessions Disposed Of With Discretion

Our team always take great care and act in a discrete manner while performing the house clearance, handling personal possessions with care and respect.

I Want To Use A Professional Licensed Waste Carrier – How Do I Check
