Clearance Overview
The house in question was sparsely furnished from a previous letting and contained only a small amount of household furniture.The garden was located at the back of this large house, and access to the garden was difficult because there was only a small gate to get through. Some of the items had to be lifted over the gate because they were too large to fit through the narrow opening. Two abandoned motorcycles were present which fortunately just about fitted through the gate and were then sent for scrap.
Clearance Requirements
We were asked to clear everything from the garden, but the house itself did only required a minimal amount of clearing. There were some building materials and an old shed which needed removing. This was quite a large job and we knew that it would take a long day to complete. After clearing all the debris from the garden we cut it back to a manageable level for the client.
Disposal of Contents
We sent the motorcycles to be scrapped and we were able to recycle many of the other items. Some of them could even be reused. The wooden shed was taken apart and the materials were recycled, and the residue sent to waste.
