Clearance Requirements
Our client asked us to clear this large bungalow located in a small street in the centre of Stanford-le-Hope, Essex, SS17. Our client was the landlord of the property, but he wanted to sell it. As a result, he asked us to remove all of the furniture, general household effects and white goods from the kitchen. He also asked us to vacuum the entire property and clean it to prepare it for viewings.
Clearance Overview
There was no on-street parking available outside the property, but there was a large driveway to park our vans so this made loading the furniture very convenient. We arrived just before 7am and started clearing the property immediately. We removed wall units, chairs, beds, tables and other furniture from the bungalow and loaded these into our closed unmarked vans. We also removed all of the white goods from the kitchen but left the gas cooker connected. Finally, we cleaned and vacuumed the property as requested, leaving it looking like new so that the client could arrange for viewings to take place.
Disposal of Contents
The majority of the furniture was in a good enough condition to donate to local charities. We also found some interesting antique china ornaments that we arranged to sell to reduce the cost of the clearance for the client. Only a very small amount of items were sent to our recycling centre, and nothing was sent to landfill.
