Our client for this attractive semi-detached house in Shirley in Greater London was a teacher who had inherited the property from his parents. He had been through the house and removed any personal effects that he wanted to keep, and now he wanted us to clear the property so that he could move his own possessions into it. He did not want the white goods removed from the kitchen because he planned to use these himself, but he wanted us to take down the shed in the back garden after clearing the items out.

Disposal of Contents
There were hundreds of books inside the house, so rather than throwing these away we placed them into boxes and donated them to a charity book shop nearby. It accepted all of the books and was very happy to take them off our hands, so this prevented us having to throw them away. We managed to donate most of the other furniture and effects that were in a good enough condition to be reused, and we recycled nearly all of the things that could not be reused.
