Clearance Requirements
We were asked by our client to clear out the contents of her five-bedroom house on Clifford Gardens in Kensal Rise, London. She informed us that there was a lot of clutter in the small front garden area and more out the back that required removing along with the furniture and general clutter throughout the interior of the house.
The client was the niece of the owner who had died a few weeks earlier, and she was in charge of selling the property so she needed to ensure that it was up to a suitable standard to begin viewings. She also asked us to isolate the electrics and cut off the water supply following the completion of the clearance.
Clearance Overview
There was parking available on the street outside the front door, so we parked our vehicles directly outside the property and started the clearance just after 8am. We began by removing all of the items of furniture including the sofa, chairs, bookshelves and white goods from the kitchen. We then removed all of the smaller items of general household goods from every room in the flat.
Once we had completely cleared the property we set about isolating the electrics and cutting off the water supply as requested by the client, and we finished the job completely by 4pm.
Disposal of Contents
The client admitted that she was surprised that we had managed to clear so much of the flat in a single day. She was very impressed with our efficiency and speed, and said she would be happy to recommend us in the future.

The client in this case was a firm of local solicitors, who were acting as executors, winding up the estate on behalf of the beneficiary, the son of the house owner. One of the partners inspected the property and was particularly impressed with the “excellent job” we had done with the garden.
