Our client contacted us to enquire about clearing his large four-bedroom flat on Liverpool Road in Islington, London, N1. He informed us that most of the smaller personal items had already been removed, but there was still a lot of general household clutter to remove, and he also wanted the carpets and underlay to be completely removed.
There was also an old piano that he thought might be a problem because it would have to be carried down the stairwell and the flat was on the third floor. He did not want the piano and asked us if we could sell it to offset the cost of the clearance, which we agreed to do.
He also wanted us to take a number of the other items of furniture to a storage facility on the other side of London following the clearance, and to provide the entire flat with a deep clean to leave it in a good condition so that he could put it on the market.

Apart from the furniture that we took to the storage unit, we sold the piano and used the money to reduce the cost of the clearance. We also managed to donate a number of the other items of furniture to a local charity for resale, and anything that could not be reused was sent to our recycling centre to minimise waste.
