Chelmsford three bedroom house clearance – A recent Essex house clearance by Avery Associates
This article relates to a house clearance Chelmsford job we carried out on the 19th February 2012. It was quite a normal property and much like any other house clearance in Essex, with clean and tidy furniture and effects. Our instruction was to clear all the household contents, loft clearance, shed and garage clearance and clear the garden and greenhouse.
We started the main house clearance at 7am and worked through the lounge clearing a 3 piece suite, footstool, sideboard, table and chairs, hifi system and an old crt television. At one end of the room we removed around 150 videos and a number of cd’s and dvd’s. Finally we boxed a considerable amount of bric a brac to send to charity and made furniture ready for recycling. From here it was the kitchen and the removal of fridge freezer, old spin drier, dishwasher and various other small electrical items, followed by crockery cutlery pots and pans cookery books etc. and food from the cupboards.
Upstairs was quite sparce having 2 single and 2 double beds, the wardrobes were built in so it just left the dressing table and 3 chests of drawers for removal. There was a large amount of ladies and mens clothes and shoes all perfectly good enough for recycling and charity. The drawers contained cosmetics and soap all good to re-use. We emptied the bathroom and took down to the ground floor a bath lift to be returned to the health authority.
Finally we worked through the garden taking away several items of garden furniture to include a couple of garden benches, stone ornaments, flower pots and the contents of the garden shed, mainly tools and a mower, and wheelbarrow – Job finished at 6pm, house hoovered from top to bottom and outbuildings swept clean.
