Clearance Of Hoarded House In Barking For Deceased Family
Avery Associates are very experienced at clearing hoarded houses all over London so we were chosen by the family of the deceased occupant after having been recommended by a client who we had conducted a hoarded house clearance in the London area for earlier this year.
A Hoard Of Hardware
Upon arrival at the house in St Awdreys Road we managed to get a parking space immediately outside the house which was a relief as i knew that we would be removing a large amount of clutter from inside and onto our truck. We unpacked about 100 boxes as well as good amount of packing material. As i had already visited the property for the initial quotation i was prepared with boxes for the large amount of goods that we were going to keep and recycle. But as well as useful material there was in my estimation approximately 4 ton of general rubbish
Clearing the House Out
We started the house clearance immediately beginning with the downstairs front room which in fact was not too cluttered. Within an hour we had the room cleared of rubbish and clutter and to one side i stacked up all of the contents that could be recycled, so this was now the room we would using as a sorting area. From here we moved along the hallway clearing the heavy mass of items and saving things on the way then putting them into the holding area. n into the dining room which was up to my shoulders with almost everything you could imagine, including a garden shredder a new dustbin incinerator and a wheelbarrow. There was also a new wall mounted boiler boxed and unopened along with over 300 different tools of all types. From here we entered the kitchen where there was more hoarding but it was cleaning materials and bleach along with many other products all of which were new and unopened. By now the time was getting on for 5pm and time to call it a day.
Day Two
The following day we carried on clearing the upstairs rooms where we discovered boxes of ornaments, a large collection of dvd’s, several new watches in boxes, new clothing, and just about everything you would find in a home but multiplied by twenty. We completed the clearance by 4pm and spent 1 hour loading the reclaimed items onto our truck. WE locked up and headed for the nearest location where we get a well earned and well needed cup of coffee. Soon after hat i called my customer to let him know the house was completely clear and cleaned ready for sale and to arrange return of the keys. He was very happy with our work and the end result when he called me the following day.
