Ferrari FF Under Wraps – The Perks Of Being A Valuer
When a new enquiry comes in at Avery Associates we never know what unusual item we are going to be asked to value for probate and this was certainly the case when a call came in from a client in Lyndhurst Hampshire. This appraisal was to include a Ferrari FF with only 25,000 miles on the clock, finished in pearlescent white and a black leather trim piped in red valued for probate at £175,000
I chose to carry out this valuation personally due to my love of high performance cars and on the day it was at the last part of the assessment that I was given access via electric security doors where I pulled back the custom red car cover to unveil the exotic Ferrari FF
Apart from the amazing FF but equally as important in the realms of high performance and classic cars I was to include a Porsche 911 Turbo (996 series) the flagship model born in 2002 worth £45,000. The third vehicle even though it was a high end Range Rover powered by a 5Ltr Petrol Supercharged engine capable of 162 mph, seemed almost less important compared to the two previous classics but never the less a formidable vehicle valued at £85,000
The remaining vehicles in the collection included a Reliant Robin a JCB digger a Kubota tractor, four high powered motorcycles and three high spec quad bikes
This was indeed a very interesting valuation which I thoroughly enjoyed doing and a real perk of the job
