Hoarded House Clearance In Thirlmere House Hackney London N16
We were called recently to quote for a clearing a hoarded house in Howard Rd Hackney London N16 8PW. The flat concerned was on the third floor with a small lift. When i arrived to quote for the job i was met by the sister of the deceased occupant and together we assessed the scale of the house clearance work involved as the small flat was amassed with household goods, clothing, bric a brac, collectables and much more. I worked out a quote for the customer and told her it would take 2 days to clear, she instructed us immediately and asked us to proceed as soon as possible then handed me the front door keys.
A Large quantity Of Clothing
The following day we arrived at 8am and started work immediately clearing the cluttered hallway of a Low bookcase with magazines and videos on top stacked 3 feet high, followed by boxes of books scattered along the walkway and some discarded clothing. We now had clear access to a store cupboard which was cleared next of large amount of clutter including 5 suitcases boxes of old christmas cards, clothing, footwear, broken furniture and 2 ironing boards. At this point i was called downstairs to load the truck of the accumulated household items and effects. Son after i returned upstairs to the apartment to carry on into the bedroom to commence clearing. It was packed with clothing probably five hundred garments of different descriptions along with numerous shoes and boots. I cleared them all into black bags for recycling and then carried on clearing other items to include about 100 videos, lots of cd’s, a television, three chest of drawers, a wardrobe, a double bed and quite a few small electrical items, finally removing the carpet and that of the hallway.
Lounge And Kitchen Clearance The Day After
These areas were fairly easy to clear the following day and because there were a lot of good items that were very suitable for re-use and recycling i boxed and wrapped them for my team to pack carefully into our other truck to deliver to a local charity. The cooker and fridge were removed along with a microwave electric kettle toaster and blender all in perfect working order and ok to pass on to a good home. Finally we removed the remaining carpet then washed down the bathroom kitchen and toilet, mopping the vinyl floors and hoovering the other areas. After my final inspection and check i called my client who returned to a clean and clear flat. She was ver pleased and thanked me and my team then after locking the door made her way back to the nearby train station to get home to Birmingham.
